Inspirasi Story - It’s a story from a book called Jonathan Livingston Seagull.
Jonathan was a seagull, but he was a little different from the others. While most seagulls flew just to find food, Jonathan really loved flying. He wanted to fly higher, faster, and further.
Of course, it wasn’t easy.
He practiced everyday but he failed many times. He fell, made mistakes, and sometimes the other seagulls didn’t understand why he kept trying.
But Jonathan didn’t give up. He kept practicing and learning from his mistakes.
until he discovered that he was capable of much more than he had imagined. finally jonathan could fly higher, faster and further.
And somehow, this story reminds me of us as teachers.
Sometimes, we also have thoughts like, “I can’t do this,” or “I’m not good enough.” Especially when we have to deal with something new—new technology, new teaching methods, new challenges, or even a difficult class.
what i just wanna say is its okay for not knwoing it at first or all at once we just need to keep trying, after all
what I just wanna say is that we just need to keep trying.. after all
we're not born knowing how to teach, we learn through experience, some trials and errors
We don’t have to be perfect teachers. We are still learning, too. We make mistakes, we try new things, sometimes they work, and sometimes they don’t.
And that’s okay.
Because when we keep trying, we are not only growing as teachers. We are also showing our students that it’s okay to make mistakes, as long as we are willing to learn and try again.
So, when we feel tired or doubt ourselves, let's remember Jonathan.
Don't say:
“I can't.”
Say:
“I can't do it yet.”
And then try again.
So, just like Jonathan, let’s keep trying, keep learning, and keep flying.
Because sometimes, the sky is not the limit. The limitation is just in our mind.
